EVDO Routers
What is Evdo? Evdo or Evolution Data Only allows us to broadband internet
connection on the go in our laptop. While accessing internet through EVDO,
there is no need of Hotspot; you are actually carrying along with you Hotspot!
This is really an efficient way to access internet wirelessly. All you have
to do is to insert the EVDO card into your laptop, and then you will have access
to internet in seconds. So, it’s that easy to access internet using EVDO. The
speed you get through EVDO is from 500K to 1000K, as if you are accessing internet
through DSL. EVDO provides 3G internet access to your laptop anywhere you are.
Sometimes the one internet connection is not enough, ex if you have more that
one computer. This is where an EVDO router is needed. They
allow you to create hot spots either mobile or at your home. Most EVDO
routers are only compatible with certain EVDO cards, so read carefully
to make sure you get the correct EVDO router for you needs.
